Overview

The International Journal of Forensic, Legal, and Health Sciences supports the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) in research and manuscript preparation. AI tools may be used for language editing, grammar correction, translation, formatting, literature organisation, and coding assistance. However, authors are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before submission. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and all authors remain fully accountable for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work. Any significant use of AI must be disclosed in the manuscript.

When AI is used as part of the research, authors should clearly describe the tools, methods, and validation process. AI-generated images or figures must also be disclosed and should accurately represent the research. Authors, reviewers, and editors must not upload confidential or unpublished information to public AI platforms. AI must never be used to fabricate data, create fake references, plagiarise content, or manipulate research findings. The journal encourages the ethical and transparent use of AI while ensuring that all editorial decisions and scientific judgments remain the responsibility of qualified human experts.
